Fitness Level Test at Home
In today’s lifestyle, what do people do to stay healthy and fit? Some sweat for hours in the gym, while others try to focus on walking and yoga in the morning. At the same time, some try to stay healthy through diet. But are you really fit? If this kind of question is roaming in your mind too, then today we are going to tell you about some unique ways to check fitness at home. Through these tests, you will know within minutes how fit and healthy you are.
1. To stand on one leg
The best way to know how healthy your body is is to stand on one leg. If you work with your left hand, stand on your right foot. If you work with a straight arm, stand on the left foot. If you remain in the standing position on one leg for 1 minute or more, it means that your body balance is absolutely fine and you are fit.
2. Do a fitness test using stairs
Climbing stairs is a fairly mild exercise and activity. While doing this you should not get out of breath. Therefore, to know your fitness, try climbing the stairs at home. If you feel short of breath while climbing stairs normally, then your fitness level is bad.
3. Push-up test
Like climbing stairs, push-ups are also a basic movement that a normally fit person can do comfortably. But if you are not able to do even 2 push-ups at home, it could be a symptom of poor fitness.
4. Squat Test
Push-ups tell you about the fitness and strength of your upper body and squats allow you to check the fitness and strength of your lower body. Therefore, you should try squats at home. If you are not able to do 2-3 squats properly, then your fitness is very bad.
5. Flexibility Test
For the flexibility test, lie down on your back and lift your right leg towards the chest. Hold for 10 – 30 seconds. You can hold the thigh to bring the leg closer to the chest. Repeat with the other leg. Sit down and spread your legs in front. Bend the left leg at the knee, so that the foot touches the right thigh.
