Parents are worried about the safety of their children and if you are living in India then there are many reasons to be worried. The crime rate is increasing here, so your children should be alert. When children are young, teach them what to do if they are in danger.

School-going children should know the address and number of emergency phone numbers. If they do not remember everything then note it down in a book.
Many kidnappers and robbers give drugs to children to make them unconscious. Repeat this to children a thousand times that they should not take anything from a stranger. Sometimes a person may have good intentions but it is better to be safe.
Teach your child about good and bad touch. Your child needs to be informed not to be touched inappropriately by a stranger.
If you are in a park, mall or entertainment area, keep your children with you because children often lose their way in public places.
