- Jowar flour – 3 cups
- Cocoa powder – 2 teaspoons
- Curd – half kilo
- Milk – 1 cup
- Butter – 2 spoons melted
- Jaggery or powdered sugar – 1 cup
- Jowar flour – 1 to 2 teaspoons just for dusting
- Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
- Dry fruits – to decorate the cake
- Chocolate syrup – to decorate the cake
Jowar Cake Recipe
- First of all, in a big bowl, sift jowar flour and cocoa powder with the help of a sieve.
- Mix curd, milk, jaggery, and butter well in a bowl.
- Add a little vanilla essence to the mixture of milk, curd, and jaggery and whisk.
- Now add this mixture to the mixture of jowar flour and cocoa powder.
- You have to mix this mixture until a good and thick solution is prepared.
- If lumps appear in your jowar cake mix, you can add a little butter to it.
- When the jowar cake mixture is well prepared, take a cake tray and apply butter in it.
- When the butter is properly applied to the cake tray, then spread the cake batter evenly in it.
- When the cake batter is ready, preheat the microwave and prepare it at 150 degrees.
- After heating the microwave, put the tray with cake mixture in it and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
- When the cake is completely baked, take it out and let it cool.
- Now take out the cake from the tray and keep it in a plate. After taking out the cake in a plate, pour chocolate syrup on it.
- After pouring chocolate syrup on the cake, decorate it with dry fruits and toppings of your choice.
