George Paul Shelley, born George Paul Shelley, was born on 27 July 1993 in Clevedon, North Somerset. He has two brothers, Tom, who lives in Australia, and Will, a sister, Harriet, and five half-siblings, Anabelle and Louisa, and three sons, Spencer, Archie, and Leo. His parents divorced when he was three years old. He was raised by his mother, but he also has a close relationship with his father.

He began his studies in several places, then left each school because his peers abused him. One of the abuses got so bad that George broke his wrist. But he didn’t give up his studies completely, and thanks to his hard work, he later got into Weston College. In 2012, he graduated with a degree in graphic design. He later studied at Oxford University and worked as a barman at Costa Coffee.

George Shelley CAREER:

George appeared as a solo singer in the ninth series of the X-Factor, where he made it all the way to the camp. At her first audition, she performed her own acoustic version of Britney Spears’ hit song Toxic for the jury. The boy went on with positive reviews. At the camp, he performed his song Labrinth – Earthquake, competing with two female contestants. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it as a solo artist, but the jury, just like in the case of One Direction, made him an offer to join a group called Triple J, which he finally accepted, and so both he and Triple J got on. as a team, and their name became Union J.

Later, at the mentors’ house, Union J’s Louis Walsh performed Carly Rae Jepsen’s song Call Me Maybe, which got them into the live show. In the first live show, the boys performed the song Don’t Stop Me made famous by Queen in 1979, securing their place in the second live show. After that, Leona Lewis – Bleeding Love and the James Morrison/Nelly Furtado – Broken Strings mendley performed, making it into the third live show.

In the third live show, they took to the stage with a duet of former Destiny’s Childs member Kelly Rowland and French DJ David Guetta, When Love Takes Over, wowing everyone and successfully entering the next live show. In the fourth live show, they surprised the winner and the jury with Beyonce’s hit Sweet Dreams, but the song was by no means a good choice. After the performance, they had to duel in order to move on. Finally, Miss Pink’s song Fuckin’ Perfect earned them a spot on the next show.

The theme of the fifth live show was Number One songs. Union J took the stage with Taylor Swift’s song Love Story. In the sixth show, the contestants could choose from the best British songs, but the band’s choice fell on Coldplay’s song – Fix You, which was also as big a failure as Beyoncé’s Sweet Deams. In the duel, they managed to advance with the song Adele – Set Fire to the Rain.

In the seventh show, they again performed Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit, Call Me Maybe, which allowed them to advance to the eighth show, where the contestants now had to perform ABBA and Motown songs. Union J voted for The Winner Takes It All and The Jackson 5 – I’ll Be There, again horribly chosen. After the songs, they had to duel again, and in the end they got through with the song “Run” by Snow Patrol.

In the ninth live show, which was also the semi-final, Union J took to the stage again with two songs, like the other remaining contestants. Emeli Sandé and Labrinth’s joint song Beneath Your Beautiful was performed first, and Lonestar – I’m Already There was performed as the second song. In the end, based on the votes of the viewers, they left the show as third place.

In 2013, after their departure from X-Faktor, they released their first LP under the name Union J in October, which was released in both standard and deluxe versions. The standard version contains 10 songs, one of which is a cover of Demi Lovato’s song Skyskraper. The first single released from the album was Carry You, which reached number four in Scotland and number six in the UK charts. The second single, Beautiful Life, was released in both standard and acoustic versions. The third single “Loving You Is Easy” was released. The deluxe version of their LP contains 14 songs, of which four are acoustic versions of the songs on the standard version, and a new composition, Lucky Ones.

They are currently working on their second LP, which is expected to hit store shelves in 2015. The first single from it was already released on August 17 with the title Tonight (We Live Forever). In 2013, the boys took part in the X-Factor Live tour and accompanied Selena Gomez at her stop in Lisbon as part of her Star Dance tour. In October 2014, they announced that they would release a new single from their second album titled You Got It All at the end of November. In 2015, he competed in ITV’s reality show Get Me Out of Here! From 2016, he started working at The Capital Breakfast Show after leaving Union J and is currently working there or in 2017.

George Shelley PRIVATE LIFE:

He formed a couple with his childhood friend Parisa Tarjomani before X-Faktor. Later, he was paired with several performers. He was discussed with Ella Henderson, among others, but both denied that there was anything between them, saying that the two were just best friends. The papers brought him together with Jesy Nelson, with whom he was caught several times, as well as with Selena Gomez.
