The Chanakya Policy is a collection of Acharya Chanakya’s policies, which are perfectly relevant even today. The Chanakya policy identifies the important things from friend to foe identity and success in life. Acharya Chanakya is known as a skilled politician, shrewd diplomat, a great economist. Based on his knowledge and experience of policy, he has told many important things to face every situation of life and not to be distracted by happiness and sorrow and has also recited many mantras for success. Through the Chanakya policy, he has said that those who do not have knowledge are like a flower which, though beautiful in appearance, has no fragrance. Here are some of the highlights of Chanakya:
If there is no knowledge then all is in vain:
Acharya Chanakya says that those who are beautiful in appearance are young, but if they do not have knowledge then they are useless. They are like the flower of Palash, which looks beautiful but has no fragrance. In Niti Shastra, Acharya Chanakya states that the lamp consumes darkness, so it produces black smoke. In the same way the kind of food we eat, i.e. Satvik, Rajasik, Tamasik, the same kind of thoughts are produced.
Give property only to Kabil:
Acharya Chanakya says that a learned man should give his property only to Kabil and should never give it to others. The water that the ocean gives to the cloud is very sweet. Due to the rain of clouds, he gives water to all the moving and immovable creatures of the earth and then returns it to the ocean.
Greed is like a disease:
Chanakya Niti says that there is no austerity like a restrained mind. There is no happiness like contentment. There is no disease like greed and no virtue like kindness.
Respect comes with education:
Acharya Chanakya has said in Niti Shastra that a learned person gets respect from the people. The scholar is respected everywhere for his erudition. It is absolutely true that education gives respect to a person everywhere.
