Anne Jacqueline Hathaway was born on November 12, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Her father, Gerald Thomas Hathaway, is a lawyer, and her mother, Kathleen Anne (née McCauley), an actress, was the one who inspired Anne to follow in her footsteps.
