Black spots are a buildup of skin pigment (melanin) on the skin. It can be located on the surface of the epidermis (epidermis), or on the deep skin (dermis).
Dark spots on the face tend to be found more in people who have light skin types. However, dark spots can also appear in those with dark skin.
Symptoms
There are no very specific symptoms of the appearance of black spots. Usually, signs of black spots can be seen from the presence of black spots on areas of the skin that are often exposed to sunlight. Sometimes black spots can appear all over the face, especially in the elderly.
