Kesha Rose Sebert was born on March 1, 1987 in Los Angeles. His mother is Patricia Rose Sebert, a singer-songwriter who co-wrote the 1978 album Old Flames Can’t Hold a Candle to You with Hugh Moffat for Joe Sun. He raised them alone. When Kesha was a baby, her mother often took her to performances, so she often had to watch her from the stage while she performed.

2009-2011: Breakthrough and Animal
After negotiations with Lava Records and Atlantic Records failed in 2009, Kesha signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records under pressure from Dr. Luke.
